Product

The carbon ledger that holds up in an audit.

Emitpulse connects to your invoices, ERP, travel portals, and supplier data. It maps every line item to a versioned emissions factor, builds a structured ledger, and generates the disclosure report your auditor expects. Every tonne is traceable to a source document.

Data ingestion

Connect your sources, not your spreadsheets

Emitpulse accepts data where it lives. You don't need to standardize before connecting.

Every data source, one structured ledger

Finance invoices arrive as CSV exports or via QuickBooks and NetSuite connectors. Travel data comes from expense platforms. Supplier emissions arrive through structured survey responses or EDI feeds. Each source is normalized on ingestion: tagged with scope, entity, and activity type before it enters the ledger.

There is no manual mapping step that happens in a spreadsheet. The mapping logic is encoded in Emitpulse and versioned alongside your data.

  • QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP connectors
  • CSV bulk upload for any source
  • Supplier survey portal for Scope 3 Category 1
  • Travel portal and expense system integrations
  • API access for custom data pipelines (Growth and Enterprise)
Emissions engine

Factor libraries that don't change silently

Emissions factor versions are locked at computation time. Your numbers stay stable from internal review to external audit.

Five factor libraries, versioned and locked

When Emitpulse computes an emissions figure, it records which factor version was applied. If DEFRA publishes a new edition, your historical calculations don't change unless you explicitly trigger a recalculation and log the reason. The version lock is how you defend the number in an audit.

The engine handles the matching logic: activity type, geography, and reporting year all feed into factor selection. You don't choose factors manually. You review matches and override where your auditor or reporting guidance requires it.

  • DEFRA 2024 for UK and EU stationary and mobile combustion
  • US EPA eGRID 2023 for location-based Scope 2 (US subgrid)
  • IPCC AR6 GWP100 for all greenhouse gas species
  • IEA electricity factors for market-based Scope 2 outside US
  • Ecoinvent 3.9 for Scope 3 purchased goods categories
Report generation

Your disclosure report is a consequence of the ledger

Not a separate document you build on top of the data. The report and the ledger are the same source.

Five frameworks, one source of truth

Emitpulse generates disclosure report drafts for the frameworks your filing obligations require. The CSRD ESRS E1 draft maps to the specific data-point structure your EU auditor expects. The SEC climate disclosure summary follows the materiality and Scope 3 safe harbor structure. The GHG Protocol inventory follows the Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard.

Each export includes a full methodology appendix: which factor libraries were applied, which scope categories are included, and any manual overrides made during review. Your auditor gets the complete picture without a separate narrative document.

  • CSRD ESRS E1 narrative draft with data-point annotations
  • SEC Climate Rule Scope 1 and 2 summary (Scope 3 safe harbor noted)
  • GHG Protocol Corporate Standard inventory
  • TCFD-aligned climate risk and metrics section
  • CDP questionnaire data extract (Enterprise)
  • Audit-ready export package with methodology appendix

Audit trail

Every tonne traceable to a receipt

The trace path from disclosure figure back to source document is three steps. No black boxes.

When the auditor asks, you have a three-click answer

The disclosure number links to the calculation entry. The calculation entry records the factor version and the exact arithmetic. The factor version links to the source receipt or data record.

This is not an audit-trail feature you turn on at the end of a reporting cycle. It is the structure of the ledger itself. Every entry is built this way from the moment data is ingested.

Note: Emitpulse produces an audit-ready export and a disclosure draft. The final filing decision and third-party assurance sign-off are yours. We give your assurance provider everything they need to do their job, not a substitute for it.

  • Disclosure figure links to source calculation
  • Calculation records factor version, formula, inputs
  • Factor version is locked and hashed at computation time
  • Source document reference stored with every row
  • Audit log timestamped and immutable once written
